Anything You Imagine…
Oprah Winfrey once opined, “Anything you can imagine, you can create.” Knowingly or unknowingly, she was talking about the power of visualization. The power of visualization is simple. It works in tandem with the Law of Attraction. All you need to do is to visualize an image in your mind; by constant visualization of this image, it will be attracted to you.
The practice is very common amongst athletes and other high achievers as it enables them to create their dream lives by accomplishing one goal or task at a time. Arnold Schwarzenegger was a big believer in visualizing how he wanted to look and kept on imagining it. Later on, he used the same technique of visualization to succeed in politics and acting. Jim Carrey wrote a check of over $10 million to himself every night during the time when he wasn’t famous. It so happened that three years later, he received exactly the same amount for starring in the blockbuster movie ‘Dumb and Dumber.’
The power of visualization.
So, how do we use the power of visualization? All you have to do is set aside five minutes a day. The best times are when you wake up in the morning, and before you go to bed. These are the times when you feel the most relaxed. Visualize yourself living your best life. How would your ideal day look like? What would you be doing? How would you be behaving? What would you be wearing? Visualize as much detail as you can create in your mind. You could add sounds you would be hearing such as traffic, music, conversations, etc. Lastly, recreate in your body any feelings you think you would be experiencing as you go about living your best life. You can even reinforce your images with Affirmations. It is a good idea to repeat your affirmations every morning and night so that it becomes an automatic part of your thinking. You may also use some of the affirmations from your weekly predictions mentioned in my column, TarotSpeak.
My dear readers, I wish that you believe in yourself and your power to achieve everything that you desire. All you need to do is visualize your success and look forward to reaping the fruits of your rewards.
